Rocking the crap out of The Notes Shack Pub (02.01.09)

So, what better way to spend the time before the Super Bowl started than to play a completely rocking show at The Notes Shack? I'd say everyone there today (myself included) had a much better time than if they'd been eating cheese doodles and watching the ninth hour of pre-game shows. This was my first time at the Notes Shack since it closed in the Fall and moved to a new location with a complete redesign -- it just re-opened a few days ago. And it was definitely awesome; the crowd was great, everyone was being fun, and I was inspired to rock like there was no tomorrow.

We definitely got a little adventurous with some tunes, including the first time ever performance of a Steely Dan tune that I'd never tried before (see rather silly example below).

Song Sample: "Peg" (Steely Dan)

Here's the whole set list...
This Afternoon (Zak Claxton)
*Peg (Steely Dan)
Thanks Anyway (Zak Claxton)
Southern Man (Neil Young)
Always Tomorrow (Zak Claxton)
Ramble On (Led Zeppelin)
Falling Down (Zak Claxton)
Starman (David Bowie)
You're Like a Cloud (Zak Claxton)
Loser (Beck)
Tribute (Tenacious D)
Who Do You Love (Bo Diddley)

*Indicates first time I've performed this song in SL
